Happy Fish Kids The 'Happy Fish/Farm Kids' (HFK) is an afterschool care program established in 2008 at Taganilao, Tamisan, in Mati City. This program aims to address the problem of school drop outs among children from poor communities. It is founded collaboratively by professionals and students, organizations and the community.HFK is run by a management team from Mati City and abroad, online and on site. It is supported and financed by members of the HFK Facebook Group, mostly by global Filipinos and friends who most willingly share their resources as 'giving back' opportunity to communities in need. |
Barner Christian Academy of Davao City’s (BCA) primary goal is character development through the knowledge of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible. Stress is placed upon developing the God-given talents and abilities of the child through a program which is committed to maximizing the full potential of each precious child. BCA seeks to provide each child with a Christian education (Proverbs 3:5,6), development of his or her unique skills, and achievement of personal academic excellence. |

The Parish of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary was founded in 1861 along with its Talolong Community and outlying barrios comprising the territorial boundaries of the parish placed under the pastoral administration of the Rev. Fr. Antonio Dela Fuente who initiated and dutifully managed the construction of the first Parish Church during the years of 1872 to 1873. With the completion of the Parish, it may be presumed that the Catholic Rectory or Parish Convent was built to shelter the priest on duty. |
Bantay Bata 163 is a child welfare program of ABS-CBN Foundation that not only rescues and rehabilitates sick and abused children, but also provides shelter, therapy and quality home care for rescued children until they can be reunited with their families or referred to proper child-caring agencies. BB163 gives emphasis on the family through the following services: training and advocacy on child abuse prevention, rehabilitation of families in crisis, educational scholarships, livelihood, community outreach and medical and dental missions. |
